The Smell of Danger (9/27)

Nscho-Tschi brings the Indian boy Little Dove, who has been bitten by a rattle snake to the medicine man. Without a very rare herb and the poisen from another rattle snake the boy, who's already in a coma, will die. Winnetou goes on the hunt for a rattle snake, while Nscho-Tschi searches for the herb. At the same time a young gypsy in Mother Thick's saloon is enchanting the gold diggers and railroad workers with music and dancing. When Grobian Santer discovers the beautiful woman with a chest full of jewels he gets suspicious. He learns, that she has a wolf capable of tracing the scent of some very rare herbs. During the night it steals everything the herbs have touched. Gredy for money Santer forces the gypsy to cooperate with him. Within notime they've collected all the valuables in town,icluding a gold case belonging to Mother Thick, which Shatterhand was supposed to looke after. Aunt Droll had put some of the herbs from the gypsy in the case, because everybody had come to believe, that they would keep away thieves. There is a great uproar as the deception is discovered. The gypsy is chased out of town and Santer receives his deserved punishment. With the help from the herbs and a live rattle snake captured by Winnetou Wokadeh is also Little Dove.
