On their way to a workshop, they get called to check out a burning vehicle on a deserted farm lot, only to have the car explode before their eyes when they arrive. Before the explosion, they caught a glimpse of someone sitting on the passenger seat. It looks like a crime and not just an accident. When they investigate the farmhouse, they find an armed man, and a dangerous standoff ensues. In the end, Leitmayr has to shoot the man dead to protect his new colleague Julia. Before he knows it, Leitmayr is caught up in a disciplinary hearing of his conduct, finding out the man he shot lives right next door from him - and the gun was a toy. Leitmayr starts to doubt his own grip on reality as well?
