Luc and Fabio are summoned to the scene of an accident. Close to the monastery of Josefsstein a stone out of nowhere shatters the glass of minivan. All four passengers are dead. Luc and Fabio are overwhelmed because they also have to look after two more bodies - Stella and the killer. Investigations in the monastery, questioning the monks yield no results. But when a mentally handicapped boy smashes a church window a horrific suspicion arises. The mentally handicapped boy might have cast the deadly stone. Semmelweis survives a second assassination attempt, thanks to a female undercover cop. She and the killer die though in the subsequent gunfight.
