The Monkeys With The White Trousers: Delacour Langurs (156/268)

The last 200 have fled to the inaccessible karst mountains of North Vietnam. They were already thought to be extinct - the Delacour langurs with the distinctive markings on their fur. In order to save one of their last habitats, Tilo Nadler, a German from Dresden, has been leading a relentless struggle on site against hunters and deforesters. But he does realize that he may be fighting a losing battle. For this reason he is taking care of a number of Vietnam's extremely threatened species in the rescue station in Cuc Phuong National Park. Meanwhile, in addition to the Delacour langurs, douc langurs, ha tinh langurs and golden-headed langurs now have what may be their last chance of survival here.
