Along with his quirky techie assistant Justus and attractive museum curator Katharina, he begins to piece together the clues leading to the mythical treasure. Their rival in the search turns out to be wealthy tycoon Heinrich Brenner, who is dying a slow death and seeks the Hoard for the vial of dragon's blood it contains, which supposedly made Siegfried invulnerable and could save Brenner's life. Brenner has hired Ike's unscrupulous former partner André, who will stop at nothing to achieve archaelogical glory. Their chase leads them to some of the most fascinating and stunning locations of Mediaeval history, including the Cologne Cathedral, the Extern Stones of the Teutoburg Forest, and famed Neuschwanstein Castle. This exhilarating adventure about the myths and mysteries of the Dark Ages, with stunning production values and sensational locations, whisks the viewer away into a world of suspense and superstition.
