The railroad company complains to Colonel Drews about the indians attacking the construction work of new track sections. Colonel Drews does not have enough men to follow the indians. Lieutenant Pierce offers to solve this problem on condition that he gets two men being put at his disposal. Colonal Drews agrees- not knowing that Pierce is hand in glove with chief Mattho Sih who is greedy for power. Together they manage to have Winntetou being held responsible for attacking the costruction work. Even Shatterhand cannot contribute anything helpful or exonerating for his bloodbrother during the trial in Mother Thicks saloon. Only a complex plan, with the help of Mother Thick and Aunt Droll being in disguise and hidden in an artificial buffalo, can finally bring the truth out into open. At last,with their incredibly funny appearance as indians they can convince Colonel Drews of Winnetous innocence.
