Snow In Australia (1/268)

It may be hard to believe, but in Australia there is snow, lots of snow, in fact. High season in the Snowy Mountains is between June and August: snowboarders and skiers romp on the slopes - among the wombats and kangaroos. The Snowy Mountains National Park was almost completely destroyed by a bush fire in 2001. The first to return were the kangaroos, followed by the wombats. The brumbies, the legendary wild horses of the Snowy Mountains, also managed to survive, but their population has been decimated. The ranger Ross Morton leads the film team through the Park, where they captured spectacular pictures of emus, wombats and brumbies.
