Revenge of the Sleeping Beauty (13/30)

Richard Merten is found murdered in his flat. Their investigations take  Inspectors Ritter and Stark to his daughter Paula, his only surviving close relative, who wants to have her father buried in the village of her childhood.

There Paula's mother Emma was murdered in the nearby woods exactly 20 years ago. Ritter and Stark follow the young woman and soon notice that they are not welcome in her hometown. Nor, it seems, are the villagers pleased by Paula's return. Over the years they have built up a dark wall of silence. Paula is not alone in suspecting that there is a connection between the murders of her parents and that the origin of the crime is to be found in the village. The two Detective Inspectors are completely in the dark - almost everyone in the village could be a suspect.
