Quicksilver, Quick steel (11/27)

As a mysterious Samurai warrior starts to spread fear and terror in the night, everybody believes it's an evil demon on the prowl wanting to kill everyone. However, Sam and Shatterhand quickly discover, that it's actually the Japanese swordfighter Toshiro on the search for his father. Harry Melton had recently been trying to hire workers for his quicksilver mine without success. Instead he kidnaps Nscho-Tschi and other squaws and uses them as slave labour. The Indian boy Little Dove has seen this and informs Winnetou who immediately rides off to the mine along with Shatterhand. At the same time in one of the mine shafts Nscho-Tschi meets an old Japanese man called Akira. He was also kidnapped by Melton and is Toshira's father. Winnetou and Shatterhand approach Melton but he and his men deny the accusations. However, Winnetou finds revealing tracks leading to a hidden cave entrance which Hobble-Frank manages to open using a homemade excavation shovel freeing the prisoners. Akira and Toshiro fallsinto eachothers arms and all is well.
