Pretty as Seven

"Pretty as Seven" is a romantic fairy tale and a comedy of mistaken identities, a story of true love, real beauty and the power of knowledge.
"Pretty as Seven" is a beautiful young woman who doesn't rely on her beauty alone but her strength of character, her education and on true love. The poor farmer's daughter veils her face, but that doesn't prevent Prince Arthur from recognizing her true inner beauty and falling deeply in love with her. Once he's seen Pretty, he will settle for no other bride, but his father jealous King Richard and scheming Baron Von Wildungen aren't happy. They want to marry the Prince to snobby Princess Zilly.
To put pressure on Pretty, the Baron sets fire to her family's farmhouse, her parents vanish. Grieving and blaming herself, she cuts all her hair off, dresses like a man and wants to be called "Misfortune" for the rest of her life. But her dearest friend, Sister Genoveva, encourages her not to give up. Disguised as "Misfortune", she goes to the castle and gets a job as a servant to be close to her beloved Prince.
