Night Train (2/7)

Early in the morning, inspector Conny Mey is called to the train station, still in her jogging suit. A bloody body was found in the night train from Warsaw, shot to death. A suspect fled the scene when the police arrived. Inspector Frank Steier, just released from the hospital after a gunshot wound, is there as well. The homicide team pays a visit to the dead man's widow Elsa to break the news. She tells them her husband worked as an Army medic in Afghanistan, but was discharged three years ago due to prescription drug abuse. Mey and Steier discover the dead man and the fugitive suspect, one Stanislav Kilic, knew each other from Afghanistan. They seem to have been involved in shady business deals. Was Kilic out to get even? The case takes an unexpected turn when the military police come looking for Kilic as well...
