Hobble Frank and Aunt Droll are on their way down in the prairie on a rail push cart, when the cart all of a sudden begins to run faster and faster. The handling gets out of control and a dramatic, speed run begins. They find themselves in an old and lost ghosttown. In order to cheer down his nerves, Aunt Droll starts to search for something to eat, but finds in a saloon a box of ancient Spanish coins instead. All of a sudden a mysterious guy with a knife turns up and Aunt Droll and Hobble Frank run away in panic. Back in Mother Thick saloon, they tell their adventure, but nobody would believe in this. Even when they show the coins, everybody would laugh about them. It is just Melton, who seems to be interested in this. He kidnaps Aunt Droll and Frank and takes them to the ghosttown again. They bump into a living ghost, named Pico, a grandson of the last Spanish Conquistador. His aim is to fight for the ancient treasure, the coins come from too. Melton tries to overpower Pico too, but he did not expect Shatterhand and Winnetou?
