Jamaica - The Rugged Beauty of the Caribbean (31/59)

Pearly-white beaches, the deep blue sea and people who are dancing to reggae rhythms the whole day long - most people associate this stereotype with Jamaica. This Caribbean Island though has a whole lot more to offer: towering mountains in the largely pristine inner Jamaica, idyllic fishermen's villages in the South and a modern capital: Kingston. The Caribbean Island's faces are manifold and show a lot more than just white beaches and the deep blue sea.   This film leads across the entire island - from the tourist center Montego Bay to the remote Port Antonio and from the Blue Mountains to the Black River.
