Jackdaw Summer At Castle Leutstetten (4/268)

The biologist Princess Auguste von Bayern was already fascinated as a child by the intelligent jackdaws, she watched them as they frolicked and admired their impressive flying skills. Now she has made this fascination her profession. While observing the jackdaws hatching in front of her study in Castle Leutstetten, Auguste sees one of the chicks fall out of the nest. She takes the chick into the castle and rears her by hand. The researcher becomes a jackdaw mother, the chick "Lilli" a jackdaw princess. After the worms there are chocolates and whipped cream, the flying practice takes place between royal candelabras and antlers' stags. And nevertheless: the most exciting thing in the life of the young jackdaw will be her return to freedom.
