Paris Inspector LaBréa investigates the gruesome murder of an ex-con, a veritable execution: He was tied to his bed and subjected to ritual castration. At first the detective suspects the involvement of a group of radical feminists, who are already wanted by the police for tracking down freed rapists and executing vigilante justice. LaBréa consults with the Inspector who has been handling that case, Franck. When a second murder happens soon after, fitting the same pattern, the trail seems to lead to activist psychologist Christine. But LaBréa doesn't settle for the obvious conclusion, and is in for a surprise...
Es ist kein schöner Anblick, der sich Kommissar Maurice LaBréa am Tatort bietet. Hinter dem brutalen Mord an einem Ex-Sträfling vermutet der Kommissar zunächst eine Gruppe polizeilich gesuchter, radikaler Feministinnen, die freigesprochene Vergewaltiger ausfindig macht und bestraft. Deshalb zieht LaBréa den bislang mit diesem Fall betrauten Ermittler Franck hinzu. Kurz darauf geschieht ein zweiter Mord nach dem gleichen Muster. Alle Spuren scheinen zu der engagierten Psychologin Christine zu führen. Doch LaBréa gibt sich nicht mit dem Offensichtlichen zufrieden und erlebt eine Überraschung.
