A wild and aggressive Grizzly turns up in the Survey Camp. The railroad company offers a reward of $1000 for the man, who kills this giant beast. All settlers want to earn this money and it ends up in a hunting fever. Shatterhand gets to know, that the bear really is on the search for he bearbabys, caught in one of the Survey Camps tents. It happens that the bear gets injured in one of Santers beartraps. Nsch-Tschi and Wokadeh rescue the bear, but Santer takes the bear babies in order to lure the bear into another trap. He intends to shoot the bear in cold blood. Shatterhand, Winnetou, Aunt Droll, Hobble Frank and Sam fight for the life of the bears?
