Foxes - In The Centre Of The City? (107/268)

Foxes are invading our cities. They live on building sites or in allotment gardens, they sleep on garage roofs or on industrial sites. Their territory is the asphalt jungle and the quieter areas of the big city. And they seem to feel at home here - for with the leftovers of our affluent, throwaway society it is easier for the foxes to bring up their young in the city than in the country, where the decimation of rabbits has made it difficult for them to survive. For the first time a team of biologists in Zurich is trying to find out why these normally shy animals are roaming out of the forests and into the city, and how they live there.
