As colonel Drews receives ten boxes for his troops packed with Winchester rifles, Mattho Sih wants these rifles to gain the power over all tribes.Using a lie he ropes in chief White cloud to the plan. He tells the chief, who normally is particulary peaceful, that Colonel Drews received the rifles only to exterminate the Indians.With the help of a magic crystal that Matho Sih got from an old medicine man he finally has White Cloud in his power. White Cloud is suddenly obsessed by the idea to expel all white men from the country.He even atacks his old friend Shatterhand.To stop this insanity Winnetou and Old Shatterhand call on the old medicine man.The bloodbrothers experience for themselves how the magic crystal alters the perception in a dangerous way. But it helps them to find the key to free chief White Cloud from the the influence of Mattho Sih.
