Old Shatterhand and Sam become wittness of a bankrobbery in Cloverfield. Shatterhand could touch one of the two bandits on the arm but the two bandits could escape. Cloverfield has a very severe judge who will hang the two bankrobbers when they get arrested.The pursuit of the two starts and they nearly got caught. The two bandits can hide in a tree but one of them looses the booty. A description of the bandits is handed out and a huge reward is promised. The robbers hear of the reward and try to blame someone else so that they will get the money. On the description one would not recognize them, that makes it easy to find quickly some victims.Two brothers, who are in a covered waggon, together with her sister on their way from New York to the west.The bandits catch the two brothers while the sister is waiting futile to the return of her brothers at the campfire.She meets Nscho-tschi and they become friends. Winnetou wants to help as well. The bandits do as if they where Bounty Hunters and bring the brothers to Cloverfield. Judge Slummer wnts to hand them at the same day. Old Shatterhand and Sam can rescue them in the last minute and with the help of Winnetou and Nscho-tschi it can be avoided that the two innocent men got hung. The real bandits can choose if they volontary go to the next militaryprison or stay withn the merciless judge.
