Bloody Money (11/17)

What starts out as a simple store robbery becomes complicated for detectives Schmücke and Schneider when someone tries to kill the injured store manager in the hospital, and the doctor's daughter disappears. There seems to be more to this simple robbery than meets the eye...

The manager of a hardware chain store is shot and critically injured during a robbery. The culprit escapes with his loot and two hostages. When detectives Schmücke and Schneider arrive at the scene of the crime, chief inspector Nora Lindner is already on the case.   Getting assigned a young and inexperienced female colleague is not exactly what Schmücke had in mind when he called for back-up. A robbery without useful leads and reliable witnesses, plus a novice on their tried and tested team is too much for Schmücke. The plot thickens when someone tries to do away with the vitally injured hardware depot manager in the hospital intensive care unit, followed by the sudden disappearance of the 10-year-old daughter of the doctor treating him. Suddenly, the case becomes a race against the clock?

Two parts experience plus one part female intuition equals three successful investigators.
