About Wolves, Dogs And Humans (211/268)

For quite some years already a small team of the Vienna University's Konrad-Lorenz-Research Center has been studying the nature of the human-animal bonding. It began with a study about people and their cats during which 40 households were repeatedly visited and the interaction between the cats and their owners was analyzed. This research showed that the owners' personal characteristics do not only have a great influence on the relationship but also on the behavior of the cat itself.
