Lydia holds Karim hostage and Alex fails in his attempts to talk her out of it. At the same time, Fredrika discovers that Adam had two siblings - one of them being Said Khelifi, now released from custody. When the plane is almost completely out of fuel, Eden is forced to give up. She admits to complicity in Adam's death and gets Lydia to tell them where Karim's family is. Just as the fuel runs out, the family is rescued, Erik is let into the cockpit and can land the plane. The hijacking is finally over and Lydia is taken away by the police. Later, Said Khelifi seeks out Fredrika, tells her about his sister Jamila, who staged the hijacking with the help of Lydia - all to avenge Adam's death.
