Despite his earlier suspicions, Erik enlists the help of passenger Osman, also an aircraft technician, to get down into the plane's cargo area. Under immense pressure, they investigate what they first believe to be a bomb. At the same time, Fredrika's doubts about Said Khelifi's guilt grows, as the circumstances surrounding his arrest seem increasingly strange. In a flashback from 2014, suspicions arise as Eden takes the first step in a deal with CIA agent Bruce Miller. When the suspected bomb turns out to be harmless and Osman has probably broken communication with the hijackers, they discover that the danger is far from over when Karim refuses to open the door to the cockpit.
