A wanted criminal stages an escape after being arrested on the border between Sweden and Finland. He has been wanted for years for an armed robbery in which a civilian was killed. Since then he has been hiding in Stockholm under a false identity. The team fears that he wants to take revenge on the witness, whose testimony would put him in prison. While Karita is investigating the case on the scene in Sweden, she comes across surprising information about Niklas. There seem to be connections between Niklas and a known neo-Nazi group.
