The Three King's Children

Lotte and her two brothers want to find out who they really are from the "Bird of Truth". When her brothers are lured into a trap by the evil Queen, Lotte tries her luck.

Prince Alexander has gone against his mother's wishes and married the charming, but unsuitable farmer's daughter Marie. But the Queenseeks revenge. She steals the newborn princes and princess from their beds and throws them in the river. Many years later, she discovers that the siblings are still alive – a miller and his wife have raised the foundlings as their own beloved children. The evil Queen sets out to kill her unwanted grandchildren once and for all. She gets close to them in the guise of an herbalist and promises Lotte that the "Bird of Truth" can reveal the secret of where she came from. For their sister, brothers Theo and Fritz try to conquer the Magic Mountain where the speaking bird lives but are turned into stone by their evil grandmother. With the help of the animals and the confidence that the miller couple have instilled in her, Lotte succeeds in rescuing her brothers and discovering the truth.
