The Man of the Hour

While Alfons Zischl is still frantically trying to save the armaments company threatened with bankruptcy, now by using not completely legal means to persuade his buddy Sepp Goldhammer to enter into the arms business, he unsurprisingly is faced with an even more urgent problem: he has to retrieve his hunting rifle before the police investigation brings some unpleasant truths to light. This is where Zischl’s long friend Erol, a policeman, enters the picture. Yet Erol seems to be following his own agenda! And if that weren’t enough, the former priest in Hindafing, Father Krauss, and the journalist Bertram Wöhler are still trying to figure out what happened to the priest’s murdered lover – and the trail of clues inexorably leads to the Zischl family.
