A Wicked Game

A violent assault on a German tourist pits Ambassador Karla Lorenz against friends and fellow diplomats as she tries to discover who is behind this and a string of other attacks on young women in the city.

In a Prague hospital, a 17-year old German tourist is fighting for her life following a violent assault. And Ambassador Karla Lorenz is facing a serious dilemma: the prime suspect is the son of the French ambassador. His mother Margo is a good friend of Karla's, she knows the boy too and is struggling to accept that 18-year old Philippe could ever be part of a group of youths said to have assaulted several young women in the city. Detective Horava's inquiries are floundering in the face of the young man's diplomatic immunity, which Philippe's father is using to prevent any investigation into his son. But there are other suspects. Despite significant political resistance, Karla sets out to discover the truth herself.
