In Dubio Pro Reo

In her first case out on her own, Romy is confronted with her past: the client is, of all people, her former teacher, Professor Konrad Wolff, a renowned expert in criminal law. Wolff stands accused of raping one of his law students, Sarah Zeidlin. Romy is firmly convinced of her teacher's innocence. For Ada too, the case is a challenge, as the customs and conventions of the day-to-day workings of a university are completely foreign to her. Romy is soon forced to acknowledge that there are grounds to suspect the personal and professional integrity of the professor. When she confronts him with this, Wolff plays the power card and puts Romy under huge pressure. Could her former mentor have a dark side that she never thought possible?
