In a nature reserve a fatal racing accident occurs. Mortician Luc Conrad and police officer Anna-Maria Giovanoli quickly ascertain in their investigation that this was staged on purpose. The investigation brings them both to the grieving family which owns a car dealership for luxury vehicles. There are deep chasms among these grieving family members.
