Lolle and Matthias have fallen in love. So Lolle readily agrees when Matthias invites her to a wedding in his circle of friends. Little does she realize what awaits her: a seriously uncool party with small talk about life insurances and family planning. Only the babies present are younger than Lolle, and she feels as if she has been propelled into a journey though time into her own future. Horror! And the horror scenario continues: Matthias is infected by this environment. He takes his role as best man very seriously - too seriously, thinks Lolle. Everything has to run according to the time schedule, and Matthias's greatest fear is that the traditional kidnapping of the bride could disrupt the programme. Of course, he is unable to prevent the kidnapping. Uncle George and Uncle Bernd seize the bride and are about to make off with her. They'll drink themselves under the table in a pub, fears Matthias. So Lolle suggests they divert the kidnapping of the bride into her flat. Not such a good idea, for a riotous teenie party is just taking place in the flat: it's Jana's birthday. Sven tries to keep cool, even though he realizes that it just won't work out with Jana. And Lolle is also beginning to realize what it means to be involved with a man in his mid-thirties who dreams of marriage and children. But Lolle and Matthias are still united in one respect at least: their fight against the arrogant publisher Dr Kemp.
