Over 6000 people have died in the conflict in East Ukraine. The country is deeply divided - the people torn between hope and despair. Amid these tensions, our film crew followed a Nationalist volunteer from Western Ukraine, a pro-Russian activist and single mother from Donezk, and a family man from embattled East Ukraine for months.
The interviews conducted by the film crew testify to the deep divide running through the country. They beg the question whether the bloody conflict in Ukraine could have been avoidable. Many Ukrainians are sick of corruption, oligarchy and injustice, and are willing to fight for a better future together.
