The Scarlet Angel (7/12)

As so often, Detective Inspector Jürgen Tauber is spending one of his sleepless nights in the office. Then the telephone rings and a young woman named Flo accuses herself of possibly having fatally injured a certain Will Gérard.

When Tauber and his colleague Jo Obermeier search the caller's flat, they do find a trail of blood - but it leads nowhere. The putative corpse has also apparently disappeared into thin air. Has Flo invented all this? But why? While Tauber's eagle eye concentrates on Flo's beauty, Jo Obermeier's searching glance discovers a webcam installed in Flo's apartment. Does the blood trail have something to do with this mysterious camera?

In the course of the investigations Jo Obermeier finds further surprises in Flo's life. Then Will Gérard, presumed dead, reappears on the scene: in a court case he casts an entirely unexpected light on the affair - with devastating consequences for Tauber and Obermeier.
