The Fall of 1918: Germany has lost the Great War. A peace treaty must be negotiated, but at what price? "The Price of Peace I+II" plots an arc from the first truce, the sailor's rebellion in Kiel November 1918, the murders of Marxists Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht to the winning powers' abasement of Germany for causing the war, culminating in the signing of the Versailles Treaty. The peace accord, which is felt to be illegitimate and deeply unjust in Germany, lays the seeds for the calamity of World War II.
