When
a TV astrologist is found dead, Munich homicide cops Franz Leitmayr
and Ivo Batic investigate in the world of mysterious mystics and fans
of the fantastic - leading the two crusty cops to some incredible
conclusions?
TV
astrologer Doro is found shot dead in her luxurious Munich mansion.
Her husband is devastated. Her housekeeper of many years, Annemarie
Weigand, can hardly believe the New Age beauty is really dead. The
coroner calls it suicide and seems to have the facts on his side. The
dead woman was found by her friend Selina.
Doro had her own popular TV show together with husband Remy, while
Selina worked as fortune teller behind the scenes and took most of
the calls. The homicide detectives soon find out that Doro and Remy's
marriage was on the rocks and Remy was having an affair with Selina.
The dead woman's "suicide note" turns out to be fake. So was it
murder after all? Doro's last calendar entry leads the two
investigators into the castle park, where Fefi has been a gardener
for years. Batic and Leitmayr soon realize that Fefi is different.
She can read auras, her special talent gets her in trouble with the
authorities more than once. Batic is amazed at how much she knows
about him, things she couldn't really know. As he tries to keep a
clear head for the rest of the investigation, the discoveries at the
mansion and their encounters with Fefi challenge the investigators'
ideas of what's real and what's not.
