Mischa wants to end the conflict with Andrei. But the latter tells Joska Bodrov that Mischa had betrayed the break-in at the warehouse. To rescue his honour as a leader, Joska pays from his own pocket for a specialist team from Russia to kill Mischa. After this act of revenge he will ask Andrei for the money from the kitty one last time. If Andrei refuses to pay, he will kill him.
Lottner and Gorsky find a new line in their investigations. During a party at the Russian Disco the gangsters took photo after photo of themselves. Nikolai, one of Joska's mob, had made a great play for Larissa, the barwoman. But up to now these photos have played no role in the LKA investigations. Are Bernd Hollmann and Sabine Jaschke, who were supposed to evaluate them, the traitors in the LKA team?
Gorsky and Lottner offer Nikolai a meeting with his girlfriend Larissa. Nikolai uses his opportunity: he allows himself to be brought to a meeting with Larissa in a hotel. In the presence of a priest he even becomes engaged to the young woman, because only honest love is good love. He's not bothered about his agreement with the LKA. After the meeting with his girlfriend he also refuses to make a statement. But Nikolai's refusal comes too late for Joska Bodrov. Warned of Nikolai possibly making a statement, he flips out. Pumped full of cocaine, he watches a SWAT team storm the building, turns on the gas tap in his flat and waits for the police unit, a lighter in his hand.
In the meantime fate has brought Marek Gorsky and Jelena together again. Lenz, the haulage contractor, who is driving Jelena from one luxury shop to another, causes an accident. Jelena flees from the scene. Gorsky, who was observing the pair, offers to take the young woman home. As Jelena gets out of his car he follows her, unseen, to the flat in which Kolya the pimp is housing Jelena and Svetlana. Gorsky and Lottner settle down to wait.
"Films that throb and pulsate, full of raging, wild, delirious life. (...) Graf's far-reaching, wide-ranging cops and robbers saga is epic, larger-than-life TV moviemaking." Der Tagesspiegel, Berlin
"500 minutes of suspense, in ten chock-full episodes, on a par with any big-budget blockbuster. (...) A gift to the audience and a piece of big-screen drama of the sort we need more of (...) The cast is stunning..." Frankfurter Allgemeine
