After the highly popular animated television series, with almost half a million viewers per episode, Lilly the Witch is now making her big screen appearance! Munich-based BLUE EYES has produced together with TRIXTER (who animated HUI BUH - THE CASTLE GHOST). Direction is by the equally as versatile as he is successful Austrian filmmaker, Stefan Ruzowitzky (ANATOMY). The Oscar®-winner (for THE COUNTERFEITERS) also co-wrote the script together with Ralph Martin and ArminToerkill. The showstopper in this funny and exciting adventure for the whole family is the small, fat CGI-dragon Hektor, voiced by comedy star Michael Mittermeier.Alongside new discovery Alina Freund as Lilly the Witch, also appearing are top talents Anja Kling (DREAMSHIP SURPRISE - PERIOD 1) as her mother; Ingo Naujoks (the roommate of "Scene of Crime" detective Maria Furtwängler) as the evil magician Hieronymus; Pilar Bardem, mother of the Spanish Oscar®-winner Javier Bardem (NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN), as the witch Surulunda, as well as allround talent Yvonne Catterfeld in a guest role.
