What if Lolle hadn't stayed in Berlin, but had gone back to Malente with Tom four years ago? Lolle's friends would have led a completely different life - and not necessarily a happier one. During a weekend visit with Tom Lolle sees the following: Sven is wallowing in self-pity and starts drinking because he's not allowed to see his son. Hart poses as a loud-mouthed business man, and although Sarah is successful as a photographer, she is lonely and aloof. Not to be forgotten - Vero who wanders through Berlin, swathed in Indian robes, and once again falls in love with Sven at first sight. Lolle uses her visit to read the riot act to Sven so that he finally starts fighting for Daniel. And, of course, this leads to a chaotic situation which brings Sven and Lolle closer to one another and almost prevents Lolle from making Tom the planned wedding proposal. But, after all, there is still Vero, who has written Sven a love letter. In the end Lolle has changed the lives of her friends for the better - and they realise: if Lolle marries Tom, that would be a big mistake! Sven and Hart rush off to stop her?
