Nick too has arrived at Ira’s hideout on the old Westwall, and he manages to grab Ira. But Karl rushes to her aid and knocks Nick out. Together they bring Nick to the cellar of the sawmill and torture him for information. In the meantime, Keppler is trying to find the mole in the Office for the Protection of the Constitution. When the LKA accesses the data on Roosen’s burned cell phone, Keppler comes across Badtke’s name. The intelligence officer is exposed and arrested. In his car, Keppler finds the coordinates to Ira's hideout.
In the forest, events are escalating. Julia finds evidence of the group's planned attacks and discovers the bomb workshop in the bunker. Karl catches her there and tries to kill her. But Julia manages to overpower him. Then she finds Nick in the cellar of the sawmill. Finally, he can tell her the truth about the intelligence agency’s plan and confess his love for her. Julia tries to escape with the injured Nick. But as they leave the building, they come face to face with the fanatical Ira.
