Rosa Wilder now knows where Jesch lives. Together with prosecutor Mettler and Kägi, she seeks confrontation with the serial killer. Can they finally catch him? During an apartment inspection with Mettler, Rosa begins to have doubts about whether she can really imagine a future together with him.

Rosa Wilder, Manfred Kägi and prosecutor Mettler follow a hot trace. At the same time, village policeman Zimmermann, who is mourning his murdered brother, finds out that Jesch must be the serial killer. Zimmermann confronts the highly dangerous man alone and is overpowered by him. Now a battle against the clock begins: if Wilder and her colleagues do not get to Jesch in time and stop him, policeman Zimmermann will die.

Despite the investigation about the serial killer, prosecutor Michael Mettler wants to finally get things done in his private life. He wants to move in with Rosa and their two children. Michael has already found the right place - an impressive apartment in a prime location. During the showing, Rosa starts to have doubts.
