State police chief Bethge promises his worried mother that he will find his sister who has disappeared without a trace. But the investigating police officers resist what they see as his attempts to interfere in the case and remind the Hamburg detective that he has no jurisdiction in Lower Saxony. Instead, the police officers first suspect an act of revenge against Bethge himself but then come to suspect his brother-in-law of having harmed his ex-wife.
Inspired by real-life-events that took place the late 1980s, this sinister mini-series tells the story about a family tragedy, and of a brother searching for his missing sister for more than 30 years. From award-winning writer Stefan Kolditz (“Generation War”, “Naked among Wolves”) with Matthias Brandt (“Babylon Berlin”), Karoline Schuch (“Luther and I”), August Wittgenstein (“Das Boot”, “Deadwind”), Nicholas Ofczarek (“Pagan Peak”, “The Team”) and Hanno Koffler (“Never look away”, “Pagan Peak”) as main characters.
Available as 3x90 min. or 6x45 min.
