It’s okay to be scared of the dark – especially when you’re as small as a plum, like Leah and Louis at the moment. But goblin Thornbush makes fun of the twins: They’re such scaredy-cats! This makes Petronella very angry: Nobody makes fun of her friends! So the little witch decides to teach the goblin a lesson. She cooks up several magic tricks designed to scare Thornbush – but the goblin remains completely unimpressed. However, the other garden dwellers get so frightened that they seek refuge in Leah and Louis’ bedroom. When Petronella finds them there, she apologizes for getting too worked up about Thornbush. They all return into the garden and encounter Thornbush, who is scared out of his wits. Being all by himself in the garden made him realize that there is something that scares him after all: Loneliness!
