This new case leads Romy and Ada into the unfamiliar world of the police special deployment commandos (SEK). Tina Fuchs, the wife of an SEK officer and police instructor, has asked Romy to take official legal action against the transfer of her husband, Christian Fuchs. The family, with their young school-age daughter, had just recently settled in Berlin. However, it comes to light that Christian Fuchs had not formally objected to the transfer as he had maintained. The SEK officer makes it absolutely clear that he has no interest in Romy's help. Romy is puzzled. But when her non-client is accused of having deliberately run down police trainer Mike Neidhard with his car after an exercise on the training grounds, Christian turns up at Romy's door and begs for her help. But with Christian's suspension, his family is in real trouble. He must learn to trust his lawyer completely; only then is there any prospect of a good outcome.
