The Sleeping Prince

The genie inside the Lamp of Wonders, Zumurrud, speaks in riddles and leads our heroes to a prince from far-off lands, recently washed up near the Crystal City and presumed dead. Dr. Duban deduces that the prince is not dead at all, but merely fallen victim to a sleeping spell. Sherazade and Karim race to intercept the prince before he is buried in a mountaintop tomb, and along the way deal with the fact that Karim is clearly jealous of Aladin’s friendship with Sherazade. They manage to steal the prince and bring him back to Dr. Duban, and then solve yet another riddle to revive him. His name is Prince Achmed, and he tells them that he saw the Tree of Life on Wak Wak Island, on the other side of the terrifying Storm Barrier. Our heroes now know where they need to go.
