Metamorphosis

The Sultan of the Golden City is dead, and his youngest son, Karim, is named his surprise successor. Enraged by the slight and hungry for power, Karim’s older brother Shazaman and his dark witch wife Dunyazad hatch a devious scheme. They concoct a magic potion that transforms the new Sultan Karim into a giant hairy monster, then claim that the beast ate the Sultan and must be hunted down and destroyed. They pin the blame on Karim’s best friend, Sherazade. But Sherazade, the resourceful daughter of a famous wizard, sees through their deception. Along with her new genie friend Halil she escapes from the dungeon and tracks down the beast ahead of the palace guard. Together, Sherazade and Karim narrowly escape capture and flee into the desert on the back of Sherazade’s magically flying camel, Jamal, with the palace guard hot on their trail.
